Pre-marriage Ministry
The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches: *Holy Scripture affirms that man and woman were created for one another: “It is not good that the man should be alone.“ The woman, “flesh of his flesh, his equal, his nearest in all things, is given to him by God as a 'helpmate.' She thus represents God from whom comes our help.” (1605).
Here arises the need of the Pre-marriage ministry which is directed to couples wishing to get married - to have an orientation that is as effective as possible and leads to a clear understanding that the marriage must be based on love, deep respect for life and dignity of the human being; that leads to understanding, patience, mutual esteem, fidelity and forgiveness.
Pre-marriage preparation develops five topics that cover relevant aspects in marriage and family life, such as communication, sexuality, finances etc., which contribute to the experience of a healthy and solid marriage.
These instructions are given twice a year. All couples interested in receiving this preparation or wishing to help in the ministry should call the parish office for more information.

De aquí surge la necesidad del ministerio Pre-matrimonial que tiene como principal propósito que las parejas que desean casarse tengan una orientación que sea lo mas eficaz posible y un entendimiento claro de que la vida matrimonial debe estar basada en el amor, en el respeto profundo de la vida y de la dignidad del ser humano; que llegan a ser concretados en la comprensión, la paciencia, la estimamutua, la fidelidad y el perdón.
La preparación Pre-matrimonial consiste en el desarrollo de 5 temas que tratan de abarcar aspectos relevantes en la vida matrimonial y familiar tales como la comunicación, la sexualidad, las finanzas etc. Que consideramos contribuyen a la vivencia de un matrimonio saludable y solido.
Esta formación se imparte 2 veces en el año. Todas las parejas interesadas en recibir la preparación o ayudar en el ministerio deben acercarse a la oficina parroquial para pedir más información
