Welcoming Ministry
The Welcoming Ministry was initiated at Holy Innocents in order to meet the needs of the new parishioners of our growing parish. The Welcoming Ministry volunteer makes monthly phone calls to the newly registered parishioners and introduces them to the various ministries as well as offering a personal invitation to participate as a volunteer in a ministry that interests them.
The Welcoming Ministry also hosts “registration weekends” twice a year to assist signing up new parishioners who might not have the time to come during office hours. A Parish Life & Ministries Directory is to be given to each new parishioner so they can peruse a description of the multitude of ministries offered at Holy Innocents.
Currently, the position of coordinator for the Welcoming Ministry is vacant, so please feel free to contact Julie Aronson at 760-955-9577 or at april89fools@gmail.com if you are interested in leading this vibrant ministry or participating as a volunteer.
El ministerio de bienvenida fue iniciado en Santos Inocentes con el propósito de satisfacer las necesidades de nuevos feligreses de nuestra parroquia creciente. Los voluntarios del ministro de bienvenida hacen mensualmente llamadas a los nuevos feligreses registrados y les comentan de los varios ministros que tiene la iglesia y les hacen una invitación para que participen en el ministerio que les interese.
El ministerio de bienvenida también tiene fines de semana de registro dos veces al año para asistir a los nuevos feligreses que no se hayan registrado por no poder venir durante las horas de la oficina. Un directorio de la iglesia y ministerios del a iglesia debe de ser entregado a cada nuevo feligrés para leer detenidamente la descripcion de los ministerios que se ofrecen en Santos Inocentes.
